We finished setting up all the tables, power strips, network cables, keyboards and mice, for the 15 computers in the lab.

We lost five computers today but the rest are fine. There has been some new discoverys and we may be getting a few back soon.

Beware The IM Hack.

I know at least five people who have been hit by this Hack. It starts out by you receiving a message form someone on your buddy list saying "This Pic Is HILARIOUS!!!" then you click the link, and, WHAM!!!!!!!! You were hacked. Luckily there is and easy way to fix this but you need to stay off of the IM for a while until the Virus is cleaned up.
Here is what you need to do.
First uninstall windows live messenger.
1. Click Start.
2. Then Control Panel.
3. Then click Add or remove Programs (if you have Vista You need to Click Programs and Features.)
4. Then select Windows Live Messenger and select Remove.
5. After that you need to do some more cleaning.
For XP:
1. Complete the first three Steps Listed Above.
2. Then, on the left hand side there will be an icon marked Add or remove Windows features.
Select this and then in the opened window scroll to the bottom of the list and uncheck windows Messenger.
From there you need to complete the wizard and then you wait. After some time the virus will die or Microsoft will release a patch and then you can log on again.
For Vista:
1. Complete the first three steps then select “Turn Windows Features on or Off”
2. Remove Windows Messenger Services from the list.
